Choices for Max - Part 4

Hello Friday Fiction Fans,
This is going to be a short post. We have all four of my nephews here (ages 2-7) and right now they are all playing legos in the same room with me. (I'm acting as a referee at times.) We've had them since Tuesday morning and they won't go home until Sunday night. We're heading to the park later this morning (after breakfast) and then might play in the pool again this afternoon.
As you may have guessed, I haven't gotten much written. (If you could see how many times I've been interrupted just in writing this, you'd understand. :) ) (pause) I did get a little written on Monday, but not (pause) much.

Next week I hope to get more written. And get some more up on Read Another Page. (pause) (pause)

Well, I don't seem to be able to get anything written without many interruptions. So . . . I'll let you have the last part of this story. But I'm sure you'll notice that it's rather short. :) But don't worry. It's (long pause) What was I saying? Umm . . . Oh, you get to pick the ending of the story. :) Have fun. (pause)

Choices for Max
Part 4

“But if we don’t go, we won’t know if we’d like it there.” Max turned to look at his younger sister. “I wonder where Mama and Daddy would want us to live.” Marcia’s blue eyes filled again with tears and Max bit his lip, wishing he hadn’t said anything. “Well, we’ll just have to decide ourselves.”

Now you have to decide. Which did Max and Marcia choose to do? If you think they stayed with Aunt Kate, click here. If you think they went with Uncle Eli, click here.

Which ending did you pick first?
Did you read them both?
(long pause)
I don't know what I'll post next week, but will you be back?

Haha! That was fun, Rebekah! I read all of them! :) I like it best when Max and Marcia go with uncle Eli, then when Max stays to get ice cream with Marcia. What a cool way to do this story! :)

That was really neat how you did that! I read them all and I'd have to agree that I liked it better when they went with uncle max. That was a very interesting way to write a story. You should do that more often.

Glad you enjoyed this, Ivy Rose. :) Thanks for commenting.

Thanks, Christian, for commenting. Glad you liked it. I just might try another story with different endings since I know at least two of my readers liked it. :) It was rather fun to write. :)

That was fun, Rebekah! Haha, all those pauses ;)

I chose that the children went with Uncle Eli first, then that Max went to the movies. But...after I had finished, I read all the other endings as well! :) My favourite ending is when Max goes to get ice cream and meets Maxwell Burton.

This story was fun, especially with all those different endings :D

I read them both, and I loved it! You should write stories with different endings more often!! :)

Thanks for commenting, Blessing Counter. Yes, those pauses . . . I was beginning to wonder if I'd even get the post posted before breakfast. :P
I figured most people would read every ending, but I'm glad you told me which you read first. :)

Hi Elizabeth, glad to know you enjoyed this story with its different endings. I'd like to write another story this way, but I don't know when it will happen. :) I guess you'll find out when it does. :)

What a fun way to share a story! I loved it! I ended up choosing the ones I had hoped the story would end! Thank you so much for sharing!
