Glad you are enjoying it.

Blessing, I know, I know, cliffhangers aren't that nice, but at least you can read the next part soon. :) I hope you won't ever have to try to escape from a floating car either!

Thanks for commenting, girls!Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09588760551371274833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787651617821764608.post-61063585046824967962015-10-10T09:15:57.385-05:002015-10-10T09:15:57.385-05:00Oh, wow! Oh noooo....why did you leave us at such a cliffhanger? ;)

To answer your questions, no, I've never tried to drive through water,( and I'm not old enough to drive anyway! :P ) And I THINK I know how to escape if your car is floating. . . although to be perfectly honest, I hope I won't be in the situation to have to do that!

Great story, Rebekah! I can't wait for next week!!Blessing Counterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09464499449142181452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787651617821764608.post-45340673325638016642015-10-09T13:35:51.288-05:002015-10-09T13:35:51.288-05:00Oh dear, I'm really looking forward to the nex...Oh dear, I'm really looking forward to the next installment...what a cliff hanger!

I really liked the way you started with the firemen talking about people getting in trouble by doing stupid things and then, lo and behold, some foolish teenagers were doing the very thing.Christianna Hellwighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14841099700397187440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787651617821764608.post-70463266915830296422015-10-09T12:13:29.864-05:002015-10-09T12:13:29.864-05:00Jesseca, I know, it wasn't a very nice place t...Jesseca, I know, it wasn't a very nice place to stop, was it? :P This story didn't lend itself to easy stopping places. I guess that means you'll just have to come back next week. :)

Ivy, Glad you are liking this story. Driving through water can be fun or dangerous. Much of it depends on if the water is still or rushing. And I agree, Jared should have done something.
You discovered my name theme. :)Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09588760551371274833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787651617821764608.post-9437758112991592982015-10-09T10:52:30.925-05:002015-10-09T10:52:30.925-05:00Oooh, I like this story! I've not ever had to drive through more than 5 inches of water, but that amount doesn't seem to hurt my Suburban any. :) I know that if a car is sinking, it is impossible to open the doors and sometimes the windows won't open either, so it's best to get them down as soon as possible (or you'll have to break them). I don't think Jared should have worried about what others would think about him if he thought Gene was being foolish.

I like the A-B-C theme to the names! Very cool idea! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11127790512575051168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787651617821764608.post-56833638786481085482015-10-09T10:06:00.649-05:002015-10-09T10:06:00.649-05:00Wow, what a place to leave us! ;)
